Trying to keep track of how old your family, relatives, friends, and colleagues are right now is harder than it sounds. Your contacts app stores names and phone numbers, but not the things you actually want to know.

Everyone on one screen — by age
Everyone you've added is automatically placed on a single screen by age, oldest at the top, youngest at the bottom. Pinch to change density, drag with one finger to pan, tap a card and the details slide up from the bottom.

The question "wait, how old are they now?" simply stops happening. One glance and everyone's age is right there.

Once you set the relationships between people, AgeMap builds the family tree for you. Grandparents → Parents → Self → Children → Grandchildren are stacked top-to-bottom, and the connecting lines are drawn automatically.

Family, friends, work — Groups
When everyone on one screen feels crowded, split them by group. Create Family, Friends, Work, Hobby — any group you like, with a color of your choice — and person cards on the map will show in that color.

- Group filter — Use the right-panel checkboxes to show only the groups you want.
- Presets — Load pre-configured group templates to get started in seconds.
- Reorder — Drag the groups you check most often to the top.
Never miss the birthdays that matter
Push notifications arrive at the time you set, with four reminder steps so you get exactly the heads-up you need.
- D-30 — A month out, time to shop for a gift
- D-7 — A week out, time to make plans
- D-1 — The day before, time to prepare a greeting
- D-day — On the day itself
Turn all four on, or pick only the ones you need. Reminders arrive at the set time even when the app is closed, and lunar birthdays are automatically converted to solar so they fire on the correct day.
Remember what you gave — Moments
"What did I give them last year?" — never that question again. Jot it down in the Moments section on the person's detail screen and it'll stack up neatly, year by year.

One ZIP, everything inside — Backup & Restore
People, groups, family relationships, profile photos, moment records, and notification settings — everything ships in a single ZIP file. The filename is auto-generated as agemap_backup_DATE.zip.
- Move to a new device — Back up on the old device → send via Google Drive or email → restore on the new device. Everything in one shot.
- Off-device safety — Keep the backup in Google Drive or email and you're covered against device loss.
- Offline-first — No account, no login, everything lives safely on your device.
Privacy
- No account, no sign-in. Open the app and you're in.
- Your data stays on your device. No automatic cloud uploads — backup files go wherever you choose.
- Birthday reminders need system notification permission. (Android 13+ requires you to grant it after install.)
